Privacy Policy
The browser app runs entirely on your device. We do not see, store or transmit your text, your generated audio, or any voice you create. We collect zero personal information through the free Service.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how CodeKins Pvt. Ltd. (“CodeKins”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with Kokoro Voice Studio (the “Service”). We are an Indian private limited company with our registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
2. What the free browser app does not collect
The free, browser-based Service is designed to be private by default. We do not collect or transmit:
- The text you enter into the script box;
- The audio you generate, mix or export;
- The voice blends or projects you save locally;
- Any account, identity or contact information (no sign-up is required);
- Analytics events, page views, click streams or behavioural telemetry;
- Cookies, fingerprints or third-party trackers.
The Service downloads model files and voice packs from public CDNs (such as Hugging Face) on first use. These downloads are subject to the privacy practices of the respective CDN provider. After the first visit, the files are cached on your device and the Service works fully offline.
3. What we collect when you contact us
If you email, message or call us, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell or share it with third parties.
4. What paid plans collect (when launched)
Our Pro · Cloud and Studio · Self-host plans (currently in waitlist) will require a user account. When you sign up for a paid plan, we will collect:

We will publish an updated, more detailed Privacy Policy before any paid plan launches. You will not be enrolled in cloud features without your explicit consent.
5. Cookies
The free browser app does not use cookies for tracking. The Service Worker uses your browser’s Cache and IndexedDB APIs to store the model files locally on your device — this is required for the app to work offline. You can clear this cached data at any time from your browser settings, or via the in-app “Clear cache” option.
6. Third-party services
To deliver the Service, the browser app loads files from a small number of trusted third-party origins:
- Hugging Face / huggingface.co — hosts the Kokoro model and voice files;
- jsDelivr / unpkg / esm.sh — host the JavaScript runtime libraries used by the app.
These providers may log standard request metadata (IP address, browser version) for security and operational purposes, in line with their own privacy policies. We have no access to those logs.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection laws — including the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@codekins.in. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect any information we hold, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest where appropriate, and least-privilege access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep the Service trustworthy.
10. Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify users via the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
