1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and CodeKins Pvt. Ltd. (“CodeKins”, “we”, “us”), an Indian private limited company. By accessing or using Kokoro Voice Studio (the “Service”) — whether the free browser app, a paid plan, or a self-hosted edition — you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation, and references to “you” mean both you and that organisation.
2. The service
Kokoro Voice Studio is a text-to-speech tool that runs the open-source Kokoro 82M model in your browser via ONNX Runtime Web. The model files and voice packs are downloaded from third-party CDNs (such as Hugging Face) on first use and cached on your device.
The free tier of the Service runs entirely on-device — no audio, text or generated content is transmitted to CodeKins servers. Paid plans introduce optional cloud features (voice library sync, project storage) which are clearly identified before activation.
3. License & ownership
The Service. CodeKins grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Generated audio. You retain all rights to the audio you generate using the Service. CodeKins claims no ownership over your inputs or outputs. You are free to use generated audio for any lawful purpose, including commercial projects, without paying royalties or providing attribution.
Underlying model. The Kokoro 82M model is provided by its respective authors under its own open-source license; you should review and comply with that license for any use of the raw model weights outside the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Impersonate any real person without their explicit consent;
- Generate audio intended to defame, harass, defraud, or deceive any individual or organisation;
- Create non-consensual sexual content, child sexual abuse material, or content that promotes violence, discrimination or self-harm;
- Generate content that violates any applicable law, regulation or third-party right;
- Reverse-engineer, redistribute, sublicense or resell the Service’s software components except as expressly permitted;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or compromise the Service or its infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these rules.
5. Paid plans & billing
Paid plans (Pro · Cloud, Studio · Self-host) are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and exclude applicable taxes such as GST.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel any time from your account settings; you retain access until the end of the current paid period.
6. Refunds & cancellation
We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first paid charge, no questions asked. After that window, refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Annual plans are pro-rated for unused months on cancellation requests received within the first 30 days.

7. Warranties & disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — express, implied or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the audio quality will meet any specific standard. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for verifying that generated audio is suitable for your intended use.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodeKins, its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses — resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is greater.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify users via the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
